Bairs Hotel in Leongatha, South Gippsland, is seeking a talented and dedicated cook to join our busy bar and bistro team.

LOCATION

We are ideally situated just 1 hour 45 minutes from Melbourne, 20 minutes from Inverloch beaches, and 1 hour from the stunning Wilson's Promontory National Park.

THE ROLE

This full-time position offers an attractive salary package of $75,000-$85,000 per annum with work-life balance benefits including:

No work on Sundays

No work on public holidays

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will:

Have 2+ years of industry experience

Be available to work weekends including Saturdays

Demonstrate ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards

Be reliable, punctual and detail-oriented

Possess strong communication skills

Contribute creative menu ideas while following established recipes

Uphold workplace health and safety standards

Hold a current Victorian driver's license with own transport
