Join our Digital Learning Team as a Digital Learning Consultant to collaborate on the development of innovative digital teaching strategies. Help shape and support the implementation of effective digital pedagogies across the system, enhancing the learning experience for all.
This is a part time opportunity (0.4 FTE) based at our West Leederville office, on a fixed term contract until 31 December 2025.

About the role
- Supporting school and system initiatives aligned with CECWA's Strategic Initiatives and Quality Catholic Education
- Supporting the Teaching and Learning Directorate strategic focus areas, including the Vision for Learning.
- Working in collaboration with other consultants to provide effective consultancy for schools.
- Maintaining effective partnerships with other education systems and organisations and provide representation that will inform future planning and provide advocacy for Catholic Education.
- Model and support the use of effective digital and contemporary pedagogies.
- Maintaining knowledge, understanding and practical application of current research, policies and pedagogical developments.
- Supporting the development of pedagogical understanding of digital learning among CEWA consultants, school leaders and teachers.
- Fostering and leading digital learning communities of practice.
- Advocate and promote the use of digital tools in a purposeful and integrated way to provide active learning experiences.
Key Skills and Experience
- Current TRBWA and Working with Children Check.
- Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
- Commitment to CEWA's Vision for Learning.
- Recent school-based experience with a history of exemplary teaching.
- Demonstrated ability to build capacity of teachers within a digital learning context.
- Understanding of digital and contemporary pedagogies.
- Sound understanding of a variety of digital learning platforms and operating systems (Microsoft and Apple).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
