We’re searching for a passionate Production Planner to join a dynamic team at one of Australia’s leading complementary medicine manufacturers, based in Warriewood, NSW.
flexible start times between 7am and 8:30am
38-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
You’ll work closely with the production team, reporting directly to the General Manager while playing a pivotal role in shaping the production process, review plans, identify risks, and ensure that production is meticulously planned and executed.
Your leadership and planning expertise will be key to driving efficiency, minimizing risks, and ensuring high-quality production across the board. It’s a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving business that’s recognized as one of the best in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating a master production schedule that aligns with both demand and line capacity for a zero to three-week horizon.
Managing production needs and resources to meet both customer demand and operational goals efficiently.
Manages production plan from concept through completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation
Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules aligned with project timelines and client deliverables.
Provide daily reports, conduct root cause analysis, and escalate relevant issues promptly.
Manage the short-term production packaging plan, ensuring it aligns with the plant’s capacity and optimizes workflows.
Maximize production efficiency and quality, ensuring packaging operations meet both demand and plant capabilities.
Liaise with Procurement team to ensure that incoming goods align with the Production Schedule.
About You:
You bring at least 2 years of experience in supply chain, preferably within the FMCG or Pharmaceutical industries.
You may have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or a related field (preferred, but not essential).
Strong supply chain planning experience (Production, Distribution, Materials, etc), preferably within FMCG/Retail
You’re proficient with ERP/MRP systems and have hands-on experience in a production planning environment.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
You are self-motivated, take initiative, and work well independently.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
