This role is joining a leader in the Australian energy efficiency market who are known as a reputable solutions provider to our residential home owners and commercial businesses for a variety of energy and electrification solutions in Solar, HVAC, Lighting and Electricity and are on an aggressive curb of growth.
The products that this brand lead the Australian market in are HVAC within the abetment market for both Air Conditioning and Hot Water Heat Pumps to residential and commercial. This is working in their Air Conditioning segment.
They hold a major accredited licence compared to any other hvac or solar retailer in this space, putting them at the forefront of development and compliance. As well as that they are an OEM manufacturer of their own products which is a rare aspect as well. So ultimately this brand are the full package.
The position
This role is focussed on Culture, Hiring and Team Engagement which will covering a variety of things on the people side of the business.
You will be working alongside the management team on helping the hiring and onboarding processes, getting the team together for events, get togethers and trainings.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Assist the hiring, onboarding and training of new staff
- Interview applicants, screen candidates, set up interviews
- Organise team building activities like yoga, lunches, parties
- Help the selection of new hires with management
- Sourcing potential candidates for vacancies
- Helping the team culture with inclusive events
- Earning bonuses from staff you help hire
- If hiring is quiet or fulfilled then you may get involved in customer sales and service which you will earn bonuses and commission from

The experience needed
To be considered for this role you will ideally have experience in hiring and talent acquisition where you have helped volumes of hires. Otherwise if you have experience toward culture and people that is ideal as well.
The right candidate for this role will also have an understanding towards sales and operations.
Key areas of experience are:
- Experience related to hiring, recruitment, talent acquisition ideally
- Experience in interviewing, screening and filtering applicants
- Ability to identify and match candidate experience to jobs
- Ability to interpret and understand candidate experience
- Ability to plan and book team activities and events
- Manage team building activity schedules for culture
- Ability to contribute to a positive culture plan
- Good use and understanding of computers and tech
- Ability to navigate and use LinkedIn & databases effectively
- Ability to write effective job ads and job descriptions
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
