About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented WHS Administrator to support our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a keen interest in workplace safety. You will assist in ensuring compliance, maintaining safety records, and supporting key WHS initiatives during a critical site transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation & Compliance: Assist in auditing and maintaining WHS documentation, including Risk Assessments, JSAs, SOPs, SWIs, and safety policies.
Training & Record-Keeping: Manage and update the Lucidity training and competency platform, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Incident & Risk Management Support: Help track and document incident investigations, corrective actions, and risk assessments.
Work Instructions & Reports: Assist in developing and formatting work instructions, task competencies, and safety reports for all machinery on site.
Safety Meeting Coordination: Organize and document HSR and safety meetings (weekly/quarterly), ensuring action items are followed up.
Return-to-Work Admin: Support the WHS Advisor in coordinating injury management and WorkCover processes.
General WHS Administration: Provide administrative support to the WHS Advisor, Operations Manager, and Production teams as needed.
About You:
Experience: Previous experience in an administration role, ideally within WHS, manufacturing, or compliance-based environments, but not essential
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with teams across the business.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using management systems (e.g., Lucidity) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Team Player: Proactive, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
