KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Plan and conduct site investigations, including soil, groundwater, and surface water assessments.

· Oversee the installation, development, and sampling of monitoring bores.

· Develop Conceptual Site Models (CSMs), Sampling and Analysis Quality Plans (SAQPs), and Environmental

Management Plans (EMPs).

· Develop waste management strategies for local councils and private sector clients.

· Support hydrogeological investigations.

· Interpret environmental and data, write detailed reports, and provide clear recommendations.

· Interpret technical data, then communicate that as required, to a diverse audience concisely.

· Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures.

· Mentor and support junior consultants.

· Liaise with clients, contractors, and laboratories.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Environmental Science, or Environmental

Engineering).

· Current driver’s licence.

· Australian citizen or permanent resident

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver complex information in a

simplified format to a diverse audience.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team.

· Ability to oversee and comply with project budgets.

· Working knowledge of GIS (ideally QGIS), AQTESOLV, and ESdat.

· At least three years of consultancy experience.

· Strong understanding of water quality (groundwater, surface water, and potable water).

· Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Proven experience in contaminated land and hydrogeological investigations.

· Proven experience in supervising groundwater bore construction.
