Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of an environmental consultancy that is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Planner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to renewable energy projects while working with a forward-thinking organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing environmental assessments, planning applications, and stakeholder engagements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside fellow planners to optimise and improve the delivery of the services offered by the team
• Lead environmental planning projects
• Build & maintain strong client relationships
• Project manage the planning work stage within multidisciplinary projects to ensure reports are delivered within specific timeframes and budget constraints
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and key stakeholders to facilitate project approvals.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education qualifications in specific disciplines
• Experience in Business Development
• Involvement in renewable energy projects
• Up to date knowledge and experience of working with the state legislations (QLD)

What’s in it for you?

• Salary up to $140,000 + Superannuation.
