THE ROLE

Our client currently has a position available for an experienced Residential Construction Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate attention to detail, pride in their work and ability

You will be responsible for the overall construction and finished quality of all new home projects. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and confidently manage multiple projects (10-15) and trades at once.

This role will cover various areas across the North Brisbane (predominantly Caboolture/Morayfield Area)

DUTIES

• Managing the overall site performance and finished quality of multiple construction projects at once.
• Scheduling and managing a wide variety of trades and subcontractors to maximise site production
• Maintain existing trades and subcontractor relationships and develop new potential relationships
• Monitor build timeframes closely to ensure contractual obligations are met
• Liaising, on site walk-throughs and meetings with clients
• Follow WHS management & Quality Control systems, to maintain a high standard of safe working practices and conditions at all times
• Get around to all sites as required and conducting thorough walk through inspections ensuring build quality is maintained.
• Solve construction issues with trades and suppliers in an efficient timeframe

ABOUT YOU

• 2+ Years of work experience in residential construction site Supervision/management
• Must have current QLD drivers licence & white card
• Must have in depth understanding of construction procedures, and materials along with project management principles with an eye for detail
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple conflicting tasks and projects
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Know how to read relevant construction documentation such as working drawings
• Understanding of national construction codes and other relevant legislation
• QBCC Site Supervisor Licence essential
• Experience with scheduling programs.
