Your New Role

The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for the management of the PCYC Outdoor Recreation client relations, booking systems, marketing and communications for both camps and outdoor recreation activities. This includes driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and expanding our market presence. About You

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the outdoor recreation or education industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a history of building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Current Driver’s License, able to travel as required

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in using CRM software and data analysis tools to track performance and inform strategy.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business and/or recreation disciplin
