A renowned global leader in architectural and interior products is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their dynamic Melbourne Sales Team. This exciting role focuses on managing the complete project lifecycle—from initial specification to project completion—while ensuring a strong pipeline of commercial projects for their premium architectural product range. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven professional with significant industry experience and established networks within the building and architecture sectors.

If you are passionate about working with diverse stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and drive sales growth, this is the perfect role for you! You’ll be responsible for managing high-value clients across Melbourne’s CBD and metro areas. A fully maintained vehicle and essential tools will be provided, along with an attractive salary and incentive scheme.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with architects and designers to drive product specifications within key market segments, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use

Build and maintain a strong project pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient management of specifications from start to finish

Engage in ongoing project management, working with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution from specification through to project completion

Attend industry networking events, strengthening relationships and uncovering new business opportunities within the architectural community

Develop a deep understanding of project management and contract administration processes, particularly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders

Present to large audiences, communicating complex product details and installation processes clearly and persuasively

Skills and Experience

At least 5 years of experience in key account management or commercial sales, specifically within the architectural or building products sector

Proven success in collaborating with architects, designers, developers, and builders to secure product specifications for large-scale projects

Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering successful outcomes

Strong industry knowledge and experience working within commercial and residential sectors, with a focus on premium architectural solutions
