We have an exciting opportunity to join the Town of Port Hedland's Community Development team as a Community Engagement Support Officer on a permanent full-time basis.
As the Community Engagement Support Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of community engagement strategies and community development initiatives across the team's diverse portfolio. This dynamic position brings together functions that support our communities to be thriving, sustainable and resilient.
Reporting to the Senior Community Development Officer, this role will support the Community Development team and other stakeholders in delivering engagement activities including community events, workshops, community forums and educational engagement sessions. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent stakeholder engagement and high-level interpersonal, customer service and organisational skills.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Qualifications and/or relevant experience in community services, community engagement, social sciences or related areas.
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class driver's licence
- Rights to work in Australia
