About the role
As a result of our continual growth, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and organized Spare Parts Interpreter/coordinator to join our friendly Team at Gepps Cross!. This role involves working closely with Service Manager, mechanics and customers to support sale of parts and attachments.
BPF Equipment is a local South Australian business operating since 2001. We sell high quality equipment - Japanese made Takeuchi excavators and track loaders, the famous Australian made Kanga mini loaders, Skyjack scissor lifts, new and used forklifts, Avant articulated mini loaders, trailer mounted Niftylifts and much more.

Immediate start
What you'll be doing
Interpret parts for the workshop and customers. Organize parts as required
Ordering parts from the external suppliers
Receiving and filling orders for parts
Assist with service calls and enquiries
Collecting, packing, dispatching, or delivering ordered parts
Preparing invoices and other finance arrangements for the sale of stock
Carrying out storage and stock control procedures
Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support
Providing advice to customers
Assisting Service Manager where required
Various other tasks as required from time-to-time
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product releases, and changes in automotive technology
What we're looking for
High level computer knowledge and speed to be able to work with various parts programs (this is an important part of the job)
Strong technical knowledge of machinery parts, components, and their applications
High attention to detail, excellent time management
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients and team members
Proficient in using parts catalogues, inventory management systems, and computer applications
Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
A good understanding to construction and agricultural industry would be an advantage but not a necessity.
