The role

As a Parts Interpreter at Boundary Creek Mechanical , you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy vehicle repair and maintenance service. This full-time position in Wallaville, Queensland, requires an individual with excellent parts knowledge or mechanical experience within the heavy vehicle/plant industry to work with our expanding workshop team .

What you'll be doing

• Parts Interpreting/Procurement for workshop
• Responsible for Organising and maintaining parts store
• Handle internal & external business as required
• Liaise with workshop staff and truck drivers
• Attend to customers efficiently and courteously
• Communicate clearly with workshop team and customers & possess a good phone manner
• Previous Interpreting experience with heavy vehicles will be highly regarded
• Full time position with flexible working week

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a parts interpreter or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
• Excellent product knowledge and the ability to quickly identify the right parts for customers' needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to multitask effectively
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn
• Sound Computer Literacy
• Forklift License (desirable) but not essential
