Job Advertisement: Registered Nurse – Aged Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional care to our residents. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the care team on each shift, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of residents.

Develop and implement resident-focused care plans in consultation with the resident and their representatives, aiming to enhance the quality of life.

Oversee medication administration, wound care, and incident management.

Collaborate with medical staff and other health professionals to ensure that any changes in resident care needs are promptly addressed and reviewed.

Complete ACFI assessments to secure optimal funding for residents.

Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns and participating in complaint resolution as needed.

Actively contribute to the Quality Improvement program, monitoring and recording quality, risk, and implementing improvements.

Selection Criteria:

Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of aged care experience.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficient in using computers and technology to enhance care delivery.

Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.

In-depth understanding of Aged Care legislative requirements.

Current APHRA registration.
