About the role

This role oversees the daily operations of the Ticketing and SmartCard systems, ensuring that system errors, alarms, and faults are addressed in compliance with contractual obligations. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, liaising with contractors and internal teams to resolve equipment malfunctions, and responding to passenger and staff inquiries. The position also involves maintaining records of system errors, analysing system data for patronage and revenue reporting, and coordinating ticketing equipment operations with ferry service providers.

Additional duties include assisting with CCTV and emergency communications, assisting in fare structure updates, guiding Customer Service staff on operational procedures, and organizing support for passengers with disabilities. The role also involves collaborating with external agencies, ensuring compliance with policies, and undertaking tasks aligned with the employee’s expertise and training.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Strong customer service, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with sound numeracy and accounting abilities for money reconciliation.

Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Proficient in data entry, information extraction, and using word processing and spreadsheet applications.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start.

This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months.
