About the role
We are seeking a User Experience Designer with Technical Business Analyst experience to work within the Bibliographic Metadata Management Project within a Federal Government Agency in Canberra. The project is looking to fully replace the existing end-of-life cataloguing functionality.

Duties

• Produce supporting technical specifications such as interface specifications, page definitions and data mapping & data migration rule specifications.
• Simplifying complex technical concepts into clear and understandable language for non-technical staff.
• Assist the project to analyse and map current processes and notifications to enable software and applications to be migrated without loss of functionality.
• Design intuitive, user-centric experiences by creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze data to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction
