The Opportunity

We are looking for our next Sales, Planning & Operations Supervisor.

We are seeking someone with a real drive for success both for themselves and the team, and ultimately BAC and our customers. You may already be working in a role that involves production planning, or you may have experience in sales operations, or materials planning, or you’re a manufacturing supervisor looking to take the next step to grow your career.

About the position

The role involves managing key aspects of the sales and operations planning process, including order management, production planning, and material planning.

You’ll need excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with BAC’s external representatives, and our sales, engineering, procurement and production teams, to ensure effective execution of customer orders and production plans.

Responsibilities include:

Production Planning

Sales & Operations Planning Support

Order Management & Customer Liaison

Job Bill of Materials (BOM) Management

Daily communication and cross-functional collaboration

Maintaining Documentation & Reporting

People Leadership – you’ll have one direct report

ERP System Transition Support -over the next 12-18 months transitioning to SAP.

About You

3 years or more experience in a manufacturing environment preferably involving production planning, order management or customer service

In depth knowledge of manufacturing bills of materials, plant capacities equipment, staffing, and processes, and an understanding of their interaction

Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Infor a plus)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem solving, planning and prioritising skills

Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest and thorough

You may have a qualification in a related field, eg., mechanical engineering
