As Project Director Workforce, you will specifically:

• Be strategic thinker and operational leader, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative workforce solutions to optimise resource utilisation and drive continuous improvement across the youth justice frontline workforce.
• Ensure appropriate governance, reporting, and project management practices are applied across all projects and initiatives undertaken by the Workforce team.
• Build, influence and sustain partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders and negotiate outcomes to support the achievement of workforce project and initiative deliverables.
• Ensure appropriate communication and change management by collaborating with stakeholders on operational change and the impact assessment on frameworks, people, and processes.
• Provide professional, authoritative and timely advice to Senior Executives, Deputy Directors-General and the Director-General on a range of strategic and operational workforce matters to support decision-making.
• Formulate and prepare submissions and briefing papers of a complex nature and negotiate recommendations at the executive level on strategies, policies and practices.
• Lead, develop and manage program and project team members providing support, assistance, and direction on work priorities.
• Ensure effective management of human, financial and physical resources.
• Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act 2019 and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
