Are you a hands-on leader with a strong background in logistics, despatch, and team development? Join Micway Transport Pty Ltd, a leading refrigerated transport company, as our next Despatch Supervisor, overseeing critical loading operations across our Arndell Park depot.

About the role:

As the Despatch Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our Loader team to ensure efficient, compliant, and safe loading operations. You will play a key role in upholding Micway’s high standards in HACCP, WHS, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day activities of the Loader team

Liaise closely with the Operations team to ensure efficient fleet movement and timely deliveries

Liaise with customer to ensure clear communication across entire shed

Train, mentor, and audit team performance including on-the-job and cross-training.

Allocate and manage daily work tasks to team members

Conduct daily equipment audits to ensure availability and safe operation across 24/7 shifts.

Assist in implementing new systems or practices that improve productivity and communication.

Skills required:

Cert III in Warehouse Transport Logistics, desirable but not essential

Proven experience in a cold logistics or refrigerated transport environment.

Previous Supervisor experience

Proven work history in similar roles/industry

Excellent communication skills & time management skills.

Eye for detail & processes.

Team player mindset essential.

Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Work Health Safety (WHS) legislation

Knowledge of HACCP and NSW Food Safety

This role will work on the following roster, this is non-negotiable to ensure you are across the entire loader team.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

5:30am - 15:30pm

4 x 10-hour roster
