The Company

Coex Capital is a new to market specialist prime equipment financier offering a single product (chattel mortgage) with distribution exclusive to accredited commercial finance brokers. Our core borrowers are SMEs in the engineering & construction, mining services, manufacturing, transport and logistics sectors seeking finance for high quality, revenue generating assets.

Our mission is to deliver broker-focused service for equipment finance solutions which respects and values the brokers’ relationship with their client, the Coex Capital borrower. This is achieved by providing a predictable and consistent service in a convenient and customer-focused way.

Our shareholders include some of Australia’s largest Equipment Finance broking groups. This is unique, meaning Coex Capital is “built with brokers, for brokers".

Due to continued growth we are seeking an Operations Officer to support the wider team.

Your responsibilities:

Manage new application workflow through core systems including verification and validation of application data

Prepare equipment finance loan documentation

Assess and process loan payout, security release and loan statement requests

Manage enquiries from colleagues, broker introducers, borrowers and third parties

Maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Adhere to and monitor SLA's

Input, check and update data into core systems

Have 2-3 years operations experience preferably in a banking or finance environment

We are looking for people with:-

Experience in dealing with equipment finance & dealing with external stakeholders such as finance brokers

An understanding of the financial services industry & equipment finance market

MS Office experience, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

Familiarity with Salesforce / DocuSign is advantageous

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

The ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines

Effective analytical and decision making skills

High attention to detail

Ability to work with minimal oversight

Ability to investigate, problem solve and follow up queries

Ability to apply a continuous improvement approach to all responsibilities
