About the role
We are seeking a talented Sales Representative with experience selling technology products in a fast-moving and competitive environment to join our team. This full-time role is for a results-driven person with a proven record for driving new sales and building strong relationships with existing valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities. You must be a hunter and always on the lookout for new opportunities.
Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and ensuring we do not lose clients to competitors.
Quoting and pricing.
Following up and executing the sale: the ability to close a sale on your own, is a must.
Providing exceptional customer service and support.
Presenting our products and services in a professional and persuasive manner
Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
Pre-installation liaison with the technical team and facilitating demonstrations when required.
Post-installation follow-up with customer where required: ensure the customer is happy with their purchase.
Maintaining an accurate CRM for the business.
What we're looking for
This is a Technical Hardware Product that will require the ability to gain product knowledge and software knowledge quickly. Full product training will be provided, along with ongoing training.
A demonstrable history of being successful in a B2B Sales Role (retail customer service officer does not count)
Proven track record of success in selling technology products in a highly competitive environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Highly motivated and self-driven to achieve results.
Honest, professional, reliable and mature.
Resident in Sydney Metro
Other skills that we are looking for, to be successful in this role include:
The ability to create a Weekly Sales Plan, with a mix of Account Management and BDM, and reporting to the General Manager.
A high level of organizational skills with a focus on working towards concrete weekly sales targets.
Technical ability with IT and Computer Hardware.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Professional email and phone skills are a must. We don’t want to have to correct your spelling!
Attention to detail: we don’t want to have to correct the names and codes on your customer quotes.

This is an office-based and on-the-road role that requires travel inter-state throughout Australia to canvas new business and manage the existing customer base.
Base Salary + Super (negotiable, dependent upon experience) plus:
Sales Commission - paid in addition to base salary, upon meeting sales and performance metric targets. **Commission is paid after the 6-month mandatory probation period is completed. **
Motor Vehicle Allowance - the role will require customer visits
