Lead Business Analyst - Regulatory Program

We're currently seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join a high-profile program within a leading financial services organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis across regulatory, risk, and financial crime initiatives
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime, Legal, and Technology to define and validate business and system requirements
• Analyse regulatory obligations and financial crime compliance requirements (AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC, transaction monitoring), and translate them into actionable changes
• Drive process mapping and gap analysis across current vs future state risk and compliance operations
• Support the design and implementation of risk controls, reporting frameworks, and technology enablement for regulatory adherence

Experience required:

• Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst within financial services
• Prior experience leading a team of BAs
• Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial crime frameworks
• Familiarity with key regulations such as AML/CTF, AUSTRAC reporting or global equivalents
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with Legal, Compliance, and Financial Crime Operations
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage analysis across multiple workstreams in a dynamic program environment

Initial 6 month day rate contract | Office attendance 2 days per week | $1000- $1040 + super per day based on relevant experience
