Duties
To provide high level consultancy services and advice involving injury management, including the investigation and management of complex workers compensation claims, and coordination of rehabilitation and return to work arrangements, to ensure delivery of effective people management services throughout the Department. Perform functions of a Return to Work Coordinator in accordance with legislative and departmental requirements as required.
Period of Appointment
Ongoing - ASAP Start Date
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.
Hours per fortnight
73.5 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
Desirable Requirements
- Membership of a relevant professional organisation.
- The completion of tertiary qualifications in human resources management or relevant field, or a significant background in human resources management.
- Injury Management Coordinator in accordance with the provisions of the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.
