Role Opportunity

Works alongside and the environment team to manage all environmental approval applications for all operations. In collaboration with the Environment Manager, you will offer technical support and guidance to operational and exploration teams, ensuring compliance with environmental requirements and securing necessary environmental approvals.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

Tertiary Degree in Environmental Science, Management or equivalent
Proven experience with environmental approvals under WA State and Commonwealth regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist operational teams with environmental approvals and requirements.
Identify approval needs and collaborate with Environment Manager.
Ensure timely submission and compliance with approvals.
Develop and coordinate baseline data for applications.
Assist in managing external consultants for approvals.
Support negotiations and communication with regulatory bodies.
Ensure Mine Closure Plans are updated and accurate.
Help manage the Environmental Risk Register and closure plans.
