The opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Air Conditioning/Mechanical Services Apprentice to join our team at Cold Bear Air Conditioning in Melbourne, VIC. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of air conditioning and mechanical services installation, maintenance and repair under the guidance of our experienced technicians.

Key responsibilities

Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and mechanical services systems

Develop practical skills in refrigeration, ducting, electrical wiring and plumbing

Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and mechanical equipment

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout project work

Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Attend trade school and complete all required training and assessments

A keen interest and aptitude for hands-on work in the trades industry

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Physically fit and able to perform physical labour

Willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude
