Organisation:
An Australian-based terminal operator specialising in container handling services at ports. It plays a critical role in the logistics and supply chain industry, providing services related to the movement of containers to and from vessels, as well as storage and distribution.

Position:
The Safety Cadetship will be a two-year structured program that provides on the job learning in key operational roles and key areas of operations. The program will build a diverse succession pool across the business. With a Health and Safety bias, the successful candidate will upskill in all areas of operations across the port, with access to an ongoing mentoring and support program.

The requirements:

• Hold a relevant Health and Safety qualification, such as a Cert IV H&S, Diploma or Bachelors in Health and Safety
• Industry experience either in Safety or a transferable specialism, with port experience being desirable
• Excellent communication skills and the passion to develop a career in Safety
• Successful candidate must have full working rights in Australia already in place
