Are you a passionate Speech Pathologist ready to step into a senior role with an organisation that truly values your expertise and ambitions?

Join a team where you'll work across diverse client groups—early intervention, school-aged, adolescents, and adults—with a wide range of presentations and diagnoses.

We integrate best practices to deliver exceptional services to clients while fostering outstanding career growth opportunities for our team.

This role offers the opportunity to support NDIS participants with complex communication needs (including high-tech AAC) and swallowing difficulties, as well as those experiencing complex behaviours, mental health challenges, complex trauma, and backgrounds of vulnerability.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist at ORS, you’ll:

  • Deliver high-quality services to participants with various diagnoses and disability types, focusing on complex communication (including high-tech AAC prescription), swallowing difficulties and complex behaviours
  • Work across diverse settings, including family homes, schools, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and ORS offices
  • Build lasting relationships with your clients, enhancing their communication, independence, and celebrating their achievements
  • Be a skilled generalist or focus into Early Childhood Services, Positive Behaviour Support, or speech pathology clinical areas within your caseload.
  • Be a pivotal member of your site’s multidisciplinary team MDT

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with SPA
  • Experience working with NDIS participants in a clinical or community setting (desired)
  • A car and driver’s licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client-facing roles (or the willingness to obtain one before commencement)

What We Offer:

We understand how important it is to maintain balance in your life. That’s why we offer:

Work-Life Balance

  • A flexible hybrid model: work from home, our Sydney offices, or the community—it’s up to you
  • Control over your schedule: book your appointments to suit your lifestyle
  • Options for part-time work, reduced hours, or even a 9-day fortnight (after probation)
  • Suburban offices with free onsite parking and convenient access
  • An extra week of annual leave after three years of service
  • Access to Fitness Passport to help you stay active and healthy

A Career That Grows With You

At ORS, your development is our priority to help our clients. We’ll support you in achieving your career goals through:

  • Tailored career pathways: focused clinical skill development in dysphagia management, AAC prescription and implementation, mental health, autism and neuro-affirming practice, early intervention, and trauma-informed approaches— or explore other disciplines like Positive Behaviour Support or Early Childhood Services.
  • Ongoing learning: access internal professional development, interdisciplinary training, and Special Interest Groups
  • A dedicated Speech Pathologist Manager to help you create and achieve your individualised growth plan
  • Leadership opportunities: support student units or grow into team leader roles or explore regional and interstate secondments
