OpenText Technical Specialist – NSW Government

• Up to $1200 p/d + super
• Contract until September 2025 with extensions
• Macquarie Park / WFH

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise across OpenText modules (xECM, Archive Server, Content Server) to support project and BAU activities
• Review and assure solution designs, configurations, and technical implementations delivered by internal and external teams
• Develop, configure, and maintain OpenText modules to ensure system performance, stability, and business alignment
• Lead technical engagement with vendors to ensure solutions meet design and integration requirements
• Validate technical artefacts including documentation, configurations, and change records
• Provide technical guidance to project delivery teams and BAU resources, ensuring consistency and quality
• Manage and direct the work of the vendor BAU team, and provide dotted-line leadership to project-based technical staff

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience (5+ years) in configuration, development, and support of OpenText modules in large, complex environments
• Proven expertise across OpenText technologies including xECM, Archive Server, and Content Server
• Experience assuring technical deliverables, including solution design, configuration, and implementation artefacts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert-level advice on OpenText architecture and performance
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with internal teams and third-party vendors on large ICT projects
• Experience providing technical leadership to multi-disciplinary teams, including vendors and project staff
