Oceania College of Technology seeks an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our Domestic Students team and help us deliver top-quality work-based training to train apprentices across Queensland in the automotive and body repair/refinishing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recruit students for our automotive and body repair/refinishing programs

- Source and maintain partnerships with suitable employers to provide work-based training opportunities for our apprentices

- Develop and nurture an extensive industry network to ensure our training remains relevant and aligned with industry needs

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of our training programs

- Actively promote Oceania College of Technology and our offerings to potential students and industry partners

Requirements:

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the automotive industry

- Strong existing network within the automotive industry in Queensland

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Queensland

Preferred:

- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or a related field

- In-depth understanding of the automotive industry and its training needs
