Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality carpentry work, including repairs, alterations, and maintenance for residential and commercial buildings.
• Specialize in remedial waterproofing, repairing water damage in existing buildings. Common methods include crack injection, membrane installation, joint sealing, and concrete repairs.
• Address issues such as rising damp, leaks, and water ingress in critical areas like roofs, balconies, and basements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices in every project.
• Collaborate with other trades and construction teams to achieve optimal results.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a remedial carpenter in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in waterproofing techniques and products (essential).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of Sydney’s building regulations and standards.
• Own tools and transport preferred.
