Living My Way is a trusted Not-For-Profit organisation with over 30 years of supporting people with disabilities to live independently with choice and control. We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable support workers in or around the Eastern Suburb areas to assist our member with personal care during morning shifts!

Anyone living locally with a background in disability support would be considered highly desirable.

About the Role:

As a Living My Way Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care tailored to the individual support needs of our members. The role involves engaging and communicating our values to foster inclusion, choice and control in all aspects of our services.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing high-quality care

• Personal care (e.g. toileting, showering, grooming and dressing etc.)

• Manual Handling (including hoist transfers)

• Meal preparation

• Domestic tasks

• Community Access (own vehicle required)

Shift days will vary. Current roster times on offer include:

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00am - 10:00am

• Friday: 8:00am-2:00pm

Requirements:

• You must have the right to live and work in Australia

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Working With Children Check

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate

• Strong communication skills

• Experience working within the Disability Sector

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or similar qualification (desirable)
