Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join their dynamic Mortgage Broking team. You will have the opportunity to work directly with an industry leader, assisting in the management of a significant pipeline valued at approximately $100M annually. We are seeking a proactive professional with credit/lending experience who can quickly adapt and provide valuable recommendations and lender options to clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Work alongside Mortgage Brokers to develop lending scenarios
• Conduct detailed credit assessments of individuals and businesses, including reviewing financial statements, credit histories, and market conditions
• Recommend appropriate lending solutions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
• Effectively manage the mortgage broking pipeline while working collaborative with the outsourced administration team
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other financial institutions

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and analytical individual who thrives in a fast paced, client focused environment. You will ideal have:

• Previous experience in a banking or mortgage broking environment, in a credit focused role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability put together lending scenarios
• Residential lending experience, with any commercial lending experience to be looked upon favourably
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
