JD Capital is a fast-growing, award-winning mortgage brokerage in Australia, and we’re looking for an experienced Home Loan Specialist & Credit Analyst to join our team!

This role supports our Home Loans Team by preparing home loan and finance applications for clients refinancing or purchasing properties. You will analyse serviceability calculations and work with various lenders to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Order pricing and valuations with various lenders.

Process home loan applications via AOL to lenders

Compare and negotiate pricing to secure the best rates for customers.

Verify and analyse documents (e.g., payslips, tax returns, and bank statements) to prepare loan applications.

Assess new inquiries for loan proposals and determine lending eligibility.

Create and manage loan scenarios using Quickli and lending calculators.

Conduct product research, verify policies, and perform servicing calculations.

Structure and package loans, including funding position creation.

Analyse PAYG and self-employed income documents (e.g., profit & loss statements).

Perform product comparisons to match lenders with clients' financial goals and capacities.

Experience & Skills Required

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an Australian finance or home lending company.

Business/Finance degree is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of Australian bank policies and loan structuring.

Exceptional organisation skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

High technical proficiency with documentation requirements for housing loans.

Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
