About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Forensic and Specialist Transitions business unit. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality services to complex and high-risk participants, empowering them to achieve maximum independence in the least restrictive environment. The ideal candidate will utilize a Person-Centred and culturally sensitive approach to ensure positive outcomes.
You will be supported by an Operations Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business unit and a Disability Practice Lead who provides specialist disability expertise and leadership to support frontline staff and service coordinators to effectively implement positive behaviour support to ensure high quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Accountability for the operations of the Forensic and Specialist Transitions unit, focusing on risk and compliance management.
Expert Guidance: Provide specialist disability expertise and leadership to the business unit and the broader organization.
Team Management: Lead and manage the performance of direct reports, fostering leadership that results in positive participant outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support existing participants and drive business growth.
Therapeutic Models: Develop and implement best practice, evidence-based therapeutic models to enhance participants' quality of life.
Financial Management: Ensure the current and future financial sustainability of the business unit.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans.
Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with CLO policies and procedures.
Succession Planning: Develop effective succession plans for all leadership roles.
Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as required.
About You
You have significant experience working with people with forensic and/or complex mental health diagnoses, and you excel in leading, coaching, and managing teams in complex environments.
Your expertise includes budget management within the context of NDIS funding, and you possess an in-depth understanding of the NDIS regulatory environment, particularly regarding Reportable Incidents and Restrictive Practices.
You have a high level of knowledge and interest in contemporary approaches to the support of people with complex and high-risk behaviours of concern, and experience in the development and implementation of appropriate models of support which can deliver quality of life outcomes for NDIS participants.
You are skilled in developing and maintaining high level stakeholder relationships.
You are skilled in developing, assessing, reviewing, and implementing complex and high-risk participant models of support, and you have high level stakeholder management experience.
Additionally, you understand human resources principles and have experience in reporting against strategic and operational plans, as well as auditing and evaluating all facets of support provision.
Key Metrics:
Delivering against strategic and operational plans.
High-quality reporting against participant plans, policies, and procedures, demonstrating adherence to KPIs and effective data collection, interpretation, and analysis.
Supporting complex and high-risk service delivery expansion by enhancing CLO’s reputation as a quality service provider for high-risk and complex supports.
Leading and participating in staff development programs as required.

Qualifications and Essential Licences
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check / DHS Disability Related Screening
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current Driver’s License
Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field (degree or higher)
Satisfy all Visa requirements to work in Australia
