Exciting opportunity to join Forensic Intervention Services as a Systems Analyst, Service Capability and Solutions, on a fixed term basis.

What does the Forensic Intervention Services team do?

As a division of Corrections Victoria, Forensic Intervention Services is a specialist program area that provides service users in custody and in the community with evidence-based screening, assessment, and offence-specific intervention services to support their rehabilitation. In doing so, Forensic Intervention Services is a critical component of the department's strategy to reduce reoffending and contribute to community safety.

What will the Systems Analyst, Service Capability and Solutions do?

The Service Development Branch provides oversight, monitoring and reform of clinical service delivery across the state, including across both prisons and community corrections. The Service Development Branch has responsibility for the management and maintenance of the technological systems that support service delivery and continuous improvement.

The Service Capability and Solutions team is responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity of the relevant systems that support statewide clinical service delivery, and for the management of performance reporting and analysis. The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, improvement and management of relevant operating systems used by Corrections Victoria clinical staff, including the Corrections Victoria Intervention Management System (CVIMS). The role acts as the primary technical CVIMS Subject Matter Expert within Forensic Intervention Services, providing business led technical support to end users located centrally and across all Corrections Victoria locations.

What skills should the Systems Analyst, Service Capability and Solutions have?

As our ideal candidate, you will have a demonstrated ability to analyse system issues and determine priorities in a fast-paced environment, take initiative and work under limited direction, as well as consider the operating environment and systems knowledge to successfully address issues arising.

You will also have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and implement stakeholder initiatives, and create lasting relationships. You will also have exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear business specifications that enable implementation of CVIMS system and reporting enhancements that meet Forensic Intervention Services' business needs.

Knowledge of the Commissioner's Information Systems including E*Justice, PIMS, CVIMS, as well Microsoft Excel, Citrix and JIRA is highly desirable. Knowledge of SQL code will be an advantage.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications is desirable.
