The Opportunity

Join our Student System Support team and play a key role in enhancing student administration! You'll provide expert system support, collaborate with functional managers, and lead process improvements within the Student Information System (SIS). From troubleshooting issues to delivering training, your insights will drive efficiency and improve the student experience. You will

  • support organisational priorities through the modernisation of relevant applications and technologies to enable success and efficiency for the broader University;
  • troubleshoot complex application issues and work with appropriate stakeholders to prepare, recommend and implement suitable fixes; and
  • take a lead role in the development and implementation of process improvement.

About you

You’re a strong communicator with the ability to consult, negotiate, and provide clear training and advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Your analytical skills enable you to identify opportunities for innovation, develop and implement business improvements, and take ownership of successful outcomes. A collaborative team player, you work effectively with others, resolve conflicts with professionalism, and contribute to a positive and high-performing team environment.

You will possess:

  • Completion of a relevant degree in computing, information technology or equivalent, with a minimum 4 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and /or education/training.
  • Functional expertise in the provision and support of a Student Information System with demonstrated experience of a high level of systems knowledge of relevant modules. Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions highly desirable.
  • Experience in preparing specifications, undertaking user needs analysis and the ability to prepare formal documentation that provides comprehensive system detail, business process and training requirements.
  • Knowledge of the higher education legislative environment relating to student admissions, enrolments, fees and charges and experience in the design and utilisation of associated queries and data integrity checks.
  • Experience in undertaking and implementing thorough and comprehensive test plans ensuring system integrity.
