This company is a rapidly growing company with a focus on high-quality, specialised solutions. Their small, experienced, and passionate team is expanding quickly in both revenue and impact. They are now looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement more structured and scalable operations. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping the way a fast-growing company manages its operations and supports its ongoing growth.

The role

Your duties in this role will include but are not limited to:

• Own and improve end-to-end logistics and operational processes - from order booking and vendor communication to freight management and after-sales support (including warranty tracking and RMA improvements)
• Work closely with the team to understand current workflows and identify opportunities to bring structure, consistency, and clarity to how things are done
• Drive ongoing process improvement across logistics, pricing, order flow, and systems - bringing a critical eye and building more scalable, efficient ways of working
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, couriers, 3PLs, and international suppliers - ensuring cost-effective, reliable service
• Oversee data accuracy in the ERP system, including pricing and stock, and take over maintenance of our e-commerce platform
• Act as a central point of contact for vendors, customers, and logistics partners
• Lead and support a small back-office team - helping them grow, work more effectively, and feel supported
• Handle general operational responsibilities including insurance, compliance, and office logistics

About you

• Strong background in operations, logistics, or supply chain management - ideally with experience in an import, export, distribution or product-based business
• Someone who thrives on process improvement, loves asking "why," and is skilled at designing systems that scale
• Experience managing freight, imports/exports, pricing, and end-to-end order processing
• Confident working with data and spreadsheets
• A capable team leader and communicator who enjoys building better ways of working for others
• Available to work a six month contract initially- with the opportunity to extend further
