Join Our Team – Procurement Assistant (Full-Time)

We’re on the lookout for an organised and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our team full-time. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role supporting our sales, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple tasks, and is ready to grow with the business. A friendly, team-first attitude is a must!

Key Responsibilities

Raise purchase orders and manage supplier communications

Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely and complete shipments

Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when needed

Maintain accurate data in our Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Communicate supply chain delays to relevant teams with updated ETAs

Assist with forecasting and stock purchasing decisions

Generate weekly reports on short-dated stock for relevant departments

Process clearance orders as requested by the sales team

Source alternative products when items are out of stock

Keep up-to-date with product handling and food safety standards

Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate stocktakes and stock planning

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Great time management and the ability to stay organised under pressure

High attention to detail and accuracy

Able to work independently and take initiative

Previous experience with procurement, inventory, or suppliers

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Understanding of COR (Chain of Responsibility)

Experience in the foodservice industry (advantageous)

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision (desirable but not essential)
