Job Title: Site Manager (x2) – Major Shutdowns & Overhauls
Location: Hunter Region, NSW (with travel to client sites as required)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive salary + super + allowances

We’re looking for 2 experienced Site Managers to oversee the planning and delivery of mechanical overhauls, shutdowns, and maintenance projects. With a strong pipeline of work across the Hunter and broader NSW region, this role is ideal for driven professionals with a strong background in power generation, industrial maintenance, or mining services.
About the Role:
As Site Manager, you will be the key leader on-site, managing the full project lifecycle from initial scope definition through to execution and completion. You’ll be responsible for planning, safety, quality, budget, and team leadership across critical shutdowns and equipment overhauls.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients to define scope, develop methodology, and prepare execution plans
Lead site-based delivery of major projects including scheduling, resourcing, and contractor management
Oversee all safety, environmental, and quality assurance processes on-site
Coordinate all aspects of shutdowns and outages, including work breakdown structure, ITPs, risk management, and reporting
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
Represent the business in client meetings and site walk-throughs
Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and with zero harm
About You:
Proven experience in a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor role, ideally in industrial shutdowns, power generation, or mechanical overhauls
Solid understanding of boilers, air heaters, turbines, balance of plant equipment, or similar heavy assets
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on high-risk, time-critical projects
Exceptional focus on safety, quality, and performance
Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with permits, scheduling tools, safety reporting, and site compliance documentation
Relevant trade, engineering, or project management qualifications
White Card, current driver’s licence, and the ability to travel to sites as required
