With Depots based in Midvale, Bunbury, Port Hedland.
Our services include towing for vehicles of all makes and models including, cars, trucks, trailers etc as well as transport of plant and equipment all over WA.
The Role
Based in Midvale, we are looking to appoint a Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join our team on a full time basis. You will be the first point of call for all phone calls and visitors to our busy Midvale head office. This is a fast paced environment and we are committed to providing excellent customer service to each and every customer. Every day is different and brings about a new challenge, someone who is quick thinking, can problem solve and work well in a team would be well suited to this position.
This is not your average Reception role, whilst the role will require the successful applicant to sit at the reception desk, you will be delegated administration tasks and will be assisting the Operations team to quote and enter jobs.
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Answering, screening and directing calls. Take and relay messages as required
- Greet people entering the office with a friendly and professional manner and assist with enquiries
- Assist Holding Yard manager with taking photos of vehicles in yard and saving as applicable. Monitor vehicle movements in and out of yard
- Scanning documents and uploading to relevant files
- Banking and collecting mail as required
- Generating reports and invoicing daily
- Take job bookings and enter into system, using custom allocation and data dispatch software.
- Preparing letters and documents as required
- General administrative support to other staff as required
- Tidy and maintain reception area and foyer
- Maintain break room supplies and other company shopping as required
- Maintain stationary levels and reorder as required
To be successful for the position the following skills are essential:
- Exceptional customer service skills with prior experience in a similar role
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Excellent phone manner
- High attention to detail
- Able to stay calm and focused while working under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Using initiative and resourcefulness to find solutions for customers
- Excellent organisational skills including time management and multi tasking
- High level of computer skills including Microsoft Office
- MYOB Experience highly regarded but not essential
- Valid drivers Licence is essential
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Swan Towing is a 24/7 business therefore successful candidates must be available for weekend shifts and public holidays on a roster basis.
