About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated person to join a mature, successful, progressive company based in Geebung on the north side of Brisbane in the dual role of Warehouse & Tool Repair.

Tasks and responsibilities for Warehouse

• Co-ordination with internal & external stakeholders
• Picking & packing of orders
• Liaising with courier companies
• Goods receiving & dispatch
• General warehouse duties
• Stocktaking
• Serving walk in customers

Tasks and responsibilities for Tool Repair

• Assessment and quotation of customer tools for service and repair
• Maintain detailed documentation of works carried out
• Liaising with customers regarding quotation and execution of repairs
• Processing of orders within ERP of the associated tool repairs and quotes
• Co-ordinating with sales and internal staff on timelines and expectations.
• Monitoring and maintaining spare parts stock, OH&S requirements and work space tidiness.
  
  Ongoing training will be provided. A basic understanding of pneumatics or hydraulics is beneficial but not essential. A keen attention to detail and willingness to learn is vital.

Skills and experience

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills with a friendly manner
• Ability to regularly lift moderately heavy product
• A knowledge of fasteners, tooling and allied products is favourably looked upon, but not essential
• A knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics is favourably looked upon, but not essential
• Forklift license and experience is favourably looked upon
• Proficiency in MS Office and in-house software applications.
• Outstanding multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and handle peak periods
• Strong customer service focus
