We are a busy marine retail chandlery & trade store in Coomera. We are looking for someone to work in our warehouse & cover busy times & staff holidays in store, with retail sales.

The person we seek has warehouse receiving experience & is a switched on, accurate, nothing is too hard, think on your feet type person with a friendly customer service focus. Accuracy is a must, checking stock in, alerting us to shortages, errors in shipping, accurate price labels on shelves as stock is placed in our retail store on the shelves.

The role is based on a two week roster

Week 1: 7am till 4pm Monday to Thursday & Fridays are 7am till 3pm. Saturday morning 7am till 12am
Week 2: 7am till 4pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 7am till 12pm (Yes, go home at lunch time & the weekend off!)

We find this flexability gives our team time to book appointments during office hours or just leave early for a longer weekend!

You will be required to work hard, turn up when rostered on, use a walkie stacker (no forklift licence required), and have a manual drivers license. You will be required to perform the following duties, and certainly not limited to, as there are many ad-hoc requirements in this busy role:

Checking & counting stock upon receipt

Receipting stock into our windows based system quickly & efficiently

Prioritizing tasks as they arise to make use of casual staff available

Checking price on barcodes

Labeling stock if required or labeling shelf

Warehouse & store cleanliness

Work safely unsupervised

Assist in retail store selling goods when required

Local pickups & delivery in either our manual ute within the precinct or golf buggy (within the boat yard)

Pack and ship out orders

Other tasks as directed by management

Every second Saturday morning you will work on the sales floor in our chandlery, helping out so it is a great opportunity to move into a sales role if you enjoy moving up the ladder or enjoy helping people choose products in store. Don't worry we offer training.

This role is a very important cog in our wheel. Accurate receipting & stock labeling, attention to detail, stock placement in store is key to our success and important for our customers. Marine experience is advantageous, however warehouse and stock control experience will be highly regarded.
