About the Role:

We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehousing and Distribution Store Person to operate during day shifts, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Commencing immediately, and working as part of our team located at our Wynnum warehouses you will be involved in organising and executing all day to day warehouse operations as well as assisting with modernising our warehousing and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for organising and controlling all warehouse and distribution movements

Overseeing and organising work for casual/seasonal employees as and when they are added to our team

Picking and Packing Parcel Orders

Packing and Wrapping Palletised Orders

Receiving and unloading stock deliveries and containers

Using a computerised system to dispatch and manifest consignments

Ensuring all orders are dispatched accurately and in a timely manner

Liaising with transport companies to book freight services

Maintaining a well organised, tidy warehouse

Operating as an effective team member and working with our production and sales colleagues to improve our efficiencies and streamline our processes.

Key Attributes & Experience:

Certificate in Warehousing / Distribution is desired, or Previous Warehouse experience is desired for this role

Must hold a current Forklift Licence

Must have excellent computer literacy skills and an ability to learn and adapt to new software programs

Able to demonstrate proactive, accurate, and a high quality of work

Strong positive communication skills, proactive and ability to work in team environments or individually

Familiarity with inventory management software such as CIN7 or Fishbowl is highly desired
