The ICN Global Modernisation Branch within our Clients' Information Management and Technology Division has a requirement for up to 3x Senior Network/Gateway Engineers. These our new contract opportunities supporting global IT operations and users within a critical Federal Government Department.

The Network/Gateway Engineers will be required to:

• Assist with operations of global systems.
• Provide technical contributions to both network and gateway technologies, including (but not limited to) Juniper, Cisco, Trend Micro, F5,
• Clearswift, Fortigate, Zscaler, Runzero, DNS, DCHP, IPAM, Network Segmentation.
• Contribute to documentation.
• Tertiary level qualifications in ICT would be desirable including industry certifications in one or more of Juniper, Cisco, Trend Micro, F5, Clearswift, Fortigate, Zscaler, Runzero, DNS, DCHP, IPAM and Network Segmentation.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum five years relevant experience demonstrating strong gateway engineering and technical skills and knowledge.
• Experience in the development of gateway high-level designs and detailed designs.
• Highly developed diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• A broad understanding of industry, whole of government direction, emerging technologies and how they can be applied to solve business problems.
• A strong understanding of ASD Essential 8 and experience with contributing to security accreditation of ICT systems.
• Experience in the day-to-day operations of highly secured networks and cryptography solutions.
