About the role:

This role is a key part of the finance team, tasked with providing accurate and insightful financial reporting to guide strategic decisions across the organisation. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will act as a business partner to various departments, with a strong emphasis on cost analysis, budgeting, KPI reporting, and enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial systems and reporting processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monthly GL accounting and management reporting, with variance analysis.
• Business partnering: providing KPI analysis and insights across departments.
• Budgeting support and price reviews.
• Compliance: BAS, FBT, and related reporting.
• Product costing, pricing analysis, and new product system integrity.
• Retail scan data analysis and specialist projects as needed.
• Drive improvements in finance processes and systems.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• CA or CPA qualified with a tertiary qualification in Accounting.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
• High attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Attaché or similar ERP/accounting systems.
• Prior experience in FMCG is highly desirable.
