This well established, 100% Australian owned freight forwarder is seeking an experienced Export Air operator that is self-managed, and highly capable of managing some of their key export customers. As well as export international services, this organization offers a wide range of logistics solutions from brokerage to 3PL warehouse and distribution solutions all around the globe.

As their Export air expert, your responsibility will be to oversee air cargo movements and manage a diverso portfolio of customers engaged in global exports.

As an Export Air Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Handling day-to-day air export operations.

Managing a customer base and addressing their inquiries on a regular basis.

Implementing best practices and generating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with customer Key Indicators (KPIs) and expectations.

Assisting the sales department in invoicing, costing, and implementing new business initiatives.

Communicating with other departments internally that supports export documentation processing.

Establish a good rapport with international and local airlines.

Assist with negotiations and quote generation.

To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate:

A minimum of one to three years' experience in a similar position with a local freight forwarder.

Proficiency in using Cargowise for export operations.

Experience in managing customer expectations within the export industry.

Initially, this position will be located in the office five days a week. The person MUST have freight forwarding experience.
