About the Position
As an Associate Lecturer – Exercise and Sport Science, you will provide a high-quality learning experience for students undertaking studies within the Faculty of Health, with specific focus on student success. Teaching across a range of exercise and sport-related topics as well as contributing to and leading other relevant units in the Faculty, you will develop and deliver an engaging learning experience for students through the delivery of lectures, collaborative learning activities and supported online learning.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • A postgraduate degree at Master’s level in Exercise and Sport Science or related discipline and eligibility for membership and accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
  • Understanding of a university learning environment and equity programs and providing supportive education to people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds and varying age groups.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of units/courses and student resources in response to reflective practice and application of scholarship (including for online and face to face teaching) and within the context and requirements of a quality education provider.
  • Excellent professional teamwork and communication skills, including oral, written, information communication technology (ICT) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the University at a range of forums, and to liaise, communicate, negotiate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders and partners, to deliver a valued service and achieve agreed outcomes.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Research Active Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $74,157 - $111,253 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $86,763 - $130,166.
