Sport and Facilities Officer - 12-month FTC
Level 4 - $103,850.10 (inc $20,000.00 Port Hedland allowance)
*Increasing to $107,204.10 as of 1st July 2025
The Role
Are you passionate about the Port Hedland sporting community and looking for a position that involves developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, this is the role for you.
Within this role you will utilise your organisational and problem-solving skills as you provide operational business support and coordinate the use of sport and recreation facilities for events and programs. You will be responsible for assisting the local sporting community to develop projects and programs to improve the management, capacity and governance of sport and recreation activities within the Town. This can include facilitating club development training, education, information and workshops.
Working within the Sports and Recreation team, this full time, permanent position is based at the Wanangkura Stadium in South Hedland

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class driver's license
- Rights to work in Australia
- Working with Children Card (or willing to obtain)
