About the role

Seeking a Finance Manager to join the team (13 month contract (April 25 - May 26)). You will be welcomed into the team and given all the tools to succeed in the role.

Reporting to the General Manager, the duties will include:

• Finance Management - End of Month reporting, Job Profitability and Management, Financial Reporting, Cashflow Management and Forecasting, Management of Budgets, Weekly Analysis and KPI reporting, Maintenance of the Asset register, Data Compilation and Reconciliation for external audits.
• Tax Compliance and External Reports - IAS and BAS lodgements, Forecast and manage tax liability, Payroll tax reporting, Reporting to local government approved supplier panels.
• Payroll processing, Maintenance of Employee Records and Administrative HR tasks.
• Managing the Finance Department - Accounts Receivable and Payables.
• Process improvement across the Finance Department
• ERP - co-ordination of new customisations, assist employees with any ERP queries, assist with testing and completion of upgrades
• General adhoc duties as required

About you

Ideally you will have the following experience and capabilities:

• 13-month maternity leave contract April-May
• Experience with contract Finance Manager roles involving AR, AP, payroll and financial management reporting
• Experience in manufacturing and project environments required
• Impeccable integrity and loyalty
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Enjoy following and optimising processes
• Diligent and hard-working, high output
• Leadership, management and communication skills
• Strong business acumen including driving profitability improvements
• Experience with MYOB and MS Dynamics Business Central
