The Role

You’ll be the go-to for all things finance and office operations, reporting directly to the leadership team and supporting two admin staff.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, processing payments, and daily bank reconciliations
  • Managing month-end reports, P&Ls, and keeping budgets on track
  • Preparing superannuation, PAYG, WorkCover and assisting with payroll when needed
  • Streamlining systems and supporting HR functions like onboarding/offboarding
  • Leading and mentoring two direct reports in the administration team
  • Supporting the business with practical financial insights and recommendations

The Criteria

You’re someone who thrives in a hands-on finance role, enjoys working in a tight-knit team, and wants to contribute to a business where people stay long-term. You’ll bring:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar finance role (construction/related field a bonus)
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence managing invoice volumes
  • Great people skills and the ability to mentor junior team members
  • Experience using MYOB and/or Xero
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset
